What Are Extended Evening Hours?

Disney World guests staying at Deluxe and Deluxe Villa resorts get extra time in the parks. On select nights at select parks, these guests can stay in the parks for an extra 2 hours to enjoy attractions with shorter wait times. Most attractions will remain open for guests to enjoy. Many shops will also remain open, but dining locations will not. They will close when the park closes for all guests.

Other select hotels eligible for the Extended Evening Hours benefit:

Guests staying at these hotels will need to scan their MagicBand, MagicMobile, or Key to the World card to prove their resort stay to enter the park during the extra two hours and at each attraction. You are eligible for attendance on all days of your stay, including check-in and check-out days.

What Is the Extra Evening Hours Schedule?

Extra Evening Hours are mostly held at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, but all four parks host this benefit at some point throughout the year.

The schedule for Extra Evening Hours is usually only posted 2 months in advance. You can view the posted schedule here. The typical schedule is Mondays at EPCOT and Wednesdays at Magic Kingdom. Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom will usually host this benefit in the fall and winter when After Hours events are being hosted by Magic Kingdom.
