Space 220 Opens September 20

This news has been years in the making - and that is not an exaggeration.

Space 220 is a new dining experience was first announced in 2017 next to the Mission Space attraction in Epcot. Like most of the new attractions coming the the Disney Parks, this restaurant is designed to be an immersive experience. You will begin by taking a space elevator to the restaurant high above the earth among the stars. During your ascension, you will be able to view Epcot from afar followed by celestial views.

The opening of this restaurant has been delayed a couple of times, and then was announced to open on October 1. On September 2, Disney surprised us all and moved up the opening date to September 20.

Disney watchers unfortunately are still impatiently waiting to hear when we can begin making reservations. I’ll be setting my alarm for 6am EST in September 20 just in case.
