Guide to Disneyland’s Season of the Force
Season of the Force kicks off at Disneyland April 5 and goes through June 2. This celebration is all about our favorite galaxy far, far away. Disneyland Resort will be taken over by Star Wars from food to characters to special experiences. Each park and resort will be showcasing the Force in different ways. Here’s our guide to everything you need to know to celebrate this year’s Season of the Force.
Experiences
“Fire of the Rising Moons” will be a nighttime experience that debuts a different view of the Disneyland park fireworks display, with musical accompaniment.
During this special gathering, villagers and visitors will come together to celebrate their freedom and to honor the heroes and legends of the galaxy who came before them. As the skies over Batuu light up in bursts of color, imaginations are ignited with the iconic music associated with tales from across the galaxy. It will be a powerful moment you won’t want to miss! You’ll even hear the iconic Star Wars scores by John Williams. Your MagicBand+ will also add to the ceremony’s atmosphere with colorful lights and ambient vibrations.
Star Tours (found in Tomorrowland at Disneyland) will feature new scenes inspired by “Ahsoka,” “Andor” and “The Mandalorian.” During your flight, you may also receive urgent transmissions from Ahsoka Tano, Cassian Andor or Din Djarin and Grogu. (This addition will be made to Star Tours at the Magic Kingdom at Disney World as well on the same day.)
HyperSpace Mountain will return. Guests will experience the Space Mountain overlay, Hyperspace Mountain. You’ll once again be able to race through the galaxy, encountering a Star Destroyer and dodging TIE fighters along the way.
Holopuck Magic Shots will be available for the first time this year. Aspiring bounty hunters in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be able to join the search for Boba Fett, Grogu and more with a holopuck Magic Shot from Disney PhotoPass Service.
Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nites have returned! This is a special ticketed after hours event for guests. Tickets are still available for April 16, 18, 23, 25, 30 and May 7 & 9. Guests will have the opportunity to dive into an expanded array of themed foods and experience out-of-this-world entertainment offerings with new plot twists and enhanced excitement:
Dine on specialty items only available during the event.
Guests in Star Wars-themed costumes are invited to participate in a special cavalcade, where they will join Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in a march down Main Street, U.S.A., culminating in a group photo in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, illuminated with galactic projections.
Bring your lightsaber and learn how to handle it with skill, concentration, and a clear mind with a quick stop at the Star Wars Nite Lightsaber Instructional at “it’s a small world” mall. Here, you will be introduced to all-new maneuvers specially crafted for this year’s recruits. All members of the Light Side and/or Dark Side are welcome.
Dance along at the Galactic Dance Party with a Master DJ on Main Street, U.S.A.
Bring your lightsabers and gather at the Millennium Falcon for a Resistance Show of Unity!
Be prepared to encounter Captain Phasma and her elite unit of Stormtroopers in Tomorrowland.
Immerse yourself in multiple Star Wars-themed photo opportunities, featuring some new places and faces from across the Star Wars universe!
