Disney World’s Halfway to the Holidays Announcements - Including Discounted Stays
Yes, I just wrote to you about the Halloween announcements at Disneyland, but Disney World just released their halfway to the holidays announcements! Grab some hot cocoa, and let’s dig into the details.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a limited capacity, after hours, five-hour holiday event at Magic Kingdom. It will go from 7pm to 12am on select nights November 8 through December 20. This is my favorite after hours event at Disney World! Wear matching Christmas pjs with your family and enjoy the holiday festivities. You’ll even experience snow on Main Street USA. Tickets for this event also include complimentary cocoa and cookies at select quick service locations.
Guests of select Disney Resorts hotels can purchase tickets starting on July 2. For all other guests, tickets will go on sale July 10.
The dates for 2024 are:
November 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29
December 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20

Jollywood Nights
Jollywood Nights returns to Hollywood Studios for it’s second year. On select nights November 9 through December 21, guests can don their holiday best for 5 festive hours from 7:30pm to 12:30am at this special ticketed event that closes the park down early for day guests.
On Hollywood Boulevard, you’ll find a new dazzling skating spectacular set to favorite holiday tunes several times each evening.
If you love rare characters, this year’s event includes over 20 unique character experiences featuring both new and returning favorites and Disney PhotoPass digital downloads are included in your event ticket!
You’ll also get to enjoy What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along, Disney Holidays in Hollywood, and Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!
The Holiday Fiesta en la Calle will move to Animation Courtyard, and there guests will be able to spot Jose Carioca and Panchito from The Three Caballeros! Meanwhile, The Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club located in the Tower Courtyard will have guests dancing throughout the night! Jazzy Holidays at the Hollywood Brown Derby will return.

EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays
You won’t need to purchase extra tickets for this one! EPCOT celebrates cultures from around the world, and during the holidays you’ll not only find food and drink common at holiday celebrations around the world, but you’ll experiences the sights, the sounds, and the tradition from around the world as well. The festival will be held November 29 through December 30. Enjoy festive traditions from around the world with amazing holiday storytellers, delicious dishes, merchandise, entertainment and more, each celebrating unique cultural traditions.
One fan-favorite is the Candlelight Processional. Listening to a celebrity narrator tell the Christmas story, accompanied by a full orchestra and mass choir, is such a moving experience—it truly captures the magic of the holidays.
Merry Menagerie at Animal Kingdom
This is one of the Magic Me family’s favorite holiday experiences at Disney World. At Animal Kingdom, the enchanting Merry Menagerie of artisan-sculpted winter animal puppets will be back amidst the beautiful holiday décor. You’ll find them on Discovery Island throughout the day, and they really shouldn’t be missed!
Gingerbread Houses and Holiday Decor
You’ll find out of this world gingerbread houses and displays at the Disney resorts as well as enchanting Christmas trees themed for each resort. The life-sized gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian should not be missed!
Holiday Stay Discount
Starting June 27, an up to 30% discount can be applied to stays most nights November 24 - December 25 and additional discounts for stays from October 6 through November 21. Any clients already booked will have these discounts applied and will be contacted with discounted upgrade options as well. Stay tuned!
